Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend.  We had a great day today.   Despite the long weekend, nobody seemed to forget how to do Kindergarten.  :)  We had our first library day today and Mrs. Rindels said the class did really well.  Hooray! 

Today we introduced the writing and drawing/art centers, so some of you may need to prepare for an onslaught of beautiful work :) 

The children are very comfortable in their class.  They noticed right away a few new things (some additional dress-up items, a new puzzle).  We now have all the centers available to choose from at the end of the day.  For some children, choosing can be difficult (and who can blame them?  There are so many things to try!  Dress-up, instruments, magnets, puzzles, and Wedgits were all in use today)  We had a little review lesson about cleaning up when you're finished with something before moving on to a new center.  Things went really smoothly after that.
