Willaby Wallaby Woo

Willaby wallaby woo
an elephant sat on you!
Willaby wallaby we
an elephant sat on me!

Willaby wallaby wun
phonemic manipulation is fun!

So far we are having lots of fun with the letter Ww.  Here are some of the centers we've worked on:
Word find with sight words:
 Wedgits:
 Car wash:
More with the water table and some fun problem solving (how to make those water wheels spin without pouring water on the floor...)
Webs!  Some children just drew with glue, while others used pencil or crayon first.
Then we added glitter, and the results are dazzling
The wonderful thing about glitter is that even if you do not make a stellar representation of a web, it still looks awesome!
Today we had another sight word day, so we practiced spelling our sight words and wore them on necklaces for most of the day.  We also did some weaving - I will try to get pictures up later this week.
