First off, a big THANK YOU to Mrs. W. and Mr. H. for going to get the snow and shoveling it all out of the truck for us to play with here! And now we will start the pictures with the shrieking mob. Don't worry, we forewarned the other teachers...
She actually looks wintry!
A big snowball
Another big one. (And only in Phoenix do we have snow days that don't require jackets)
Look! It's snowing!
Digging tunnels...
Some attempts were made to build tiny snowmen.
We threw a lot of snowballs at the wall.
And we wrote/drew on the wall.
Sitting on top of the 'mountain':
Group shot:
All that was left of the pile after 30-45 min.s of children
Wet mittens/gloves drying in the sun.
These pictures made me smile & even laugh out loud. It looks like a lot of fun. We had snow yesterday too, but I didn't have someone to play with so I just threw snowballs to see how far they would go.

p.s. Did everyone know to bring mittens?
Lynola, as I was looking at these pictures I exclaimed to Eric: "She's the best kindergarten teacher, ever!" Your snow day idea is amazing and the kids will remember that for a LONG time!
