Just for fun, something I heard on the radio: Hark! The Herald "Preschoolers" Sing.
Enjoy!

Pictures from Last Week
Here are some of the centers we did last week:
It was nice to have a Dad helping out to monitor the outdoor sneezing art center. The children enjoyed fake sneezing as they sprayed their paper; I enjoyed having the food coloring outside.
Inside we made Christmas ornaments.
Some children made more later. Our tables and hands were very glittery.
This center was a game that involved throwing the squishy worm ball, counting the set of stickers it landed nearest, and comparing that set with others' numbers.

Today we saw...
After recess we all spent a few minutes near the fence watching the action. We'll get to see lots of exciting things this year as the new gym starts to get built.
We watched the backhoe (I only know that's what it is called because a five year old told me, and I have no idea if I spelled it correctly - feel free to correct me!) scoop up debris from Saturday's demolition work day (thanks to the dads who worked so hard!) and dump it into the big truck.

Quote
We were making Christmas chains today. One student got hers to be quite long rather quickly.
Child 1: How do you make it so fast?
Child 2: Because I work and I don't giggle around.

'Tis The Season
Today in Bible we heard about an angel visiting Mary to tell her she would have a baby. Then Mary went to visit Elizabeth, who was also going to have a baby.
Student 1: "But how did the baby get out?"
"There's a special hole for it to get out."
Student 2: "I know! It's the belly button!"
"No. Ask your mom."
Student 3: "I asked my mom. She said it's none of my business."

Fresh n' Easy
Tomorrow is the Shop for School fundraiser at Fresh n' Easy... hope to see you there!
This morning we had lots of fun in art as we decorated boxes; don't they just make you want to drop in a receipt to help the school?
The ocean box:The Wildcat box (well, it started blue, but got more colorful)
The Christmas box:

Breath of Heaven
Kindergarten Followers, you may ignore this post...it's for Christmas concert practice for the 5th -8th Grade Girls. Using a webcam, the quality is not great and it's a bit blurry, but hopefully it helps a bit anyway.
I'll give credit where credit is due: The song is "Breath of Heaven", sung by Nicola Walker Smith on the CD 25 Christmas Songs You Love To Sing.
